An action you do,or you do not do !
But a child that started the school of life not so luckily, has a greater risc later in it to fall into a lot of psychological traps that can be either self inflicted or socially generated.
But first,let us enter the realm of our childhood. My favourite cartoons were the Looney Tunes !
Chapter 1.The Cable Guy .
This wannabe awesome dude is played by Jim Carrey. SPOILER ALERT . He has a history growing up with absent parents,that left him with none other that his television set.
This really has some advantages
1. Seeing actors perform and interact with each other,
2. See other sides of life than your own,even in other eras (western films for example)
3. Teaching you early on the principle of action-reaction. Meaning what action does a person do,and is related to what happens/ could happen to him after he does it. Robbing a bank gets you on the blacklist of the wanted.
4. Teaches empathy, and helps you choose your heroes. While children we really need targets to identify with. for adults,there is Halloween :D
These are a few,but the DOSAGE matters most ! Too much anything will kill you. In most cases of our times, it is done softly,and whithout you even realising it.
He had only his TV. Day and night. Imagine that for a minute...
The bad news is the child could only immitate the actors or scenes,whitout a much deeper understanding of them. And this is a TRAP,because in real life there are no props,and you could injure yourself or others . If you watch the same films over and over again, then you couldnt easily thing about other outcomes or endings. Apply those in real life and ... cathastrophy awaits ye !
The serious part in this comedy is based on the need to connect. We human beings have a tendency to belong to a group. That is why some of us join gangs for the sheer fun of it. It`s based on the tribal mentality.
United we stand , sepparate us and we fall.
SPOILER ALERT This guy even takes the name of known characters from tv shows and even toons to get jobs for himself ,in order to get variety.
He could be very scary:
Oor : Funny if you are not seeing this from his victim`s point of wiew ...
You might have noticed that he talks about a "Robin." It`s the victim`s girlfriend,that is simply sweeped off her feet by this wacky new man that came into her life...
HOW does he manage that ?
GO and watch the movie. You`ll really enjoy Jim`s awesome talent !
By the way,he has been the actor that i simply adored as a child. My father`s guidance is paying off well ! Rarely do I go more than a day without laughing ! Cheap medicine that is :D !
Short chapter 2. Despicable me.
We all know that person. His main scheme is taking over the world and/or making others feel like shit.Just like the opening song of the movie states :"I`m having a bad-bad day / If you take it personal that`s OK" .
But what about his childhood ? Let`s watch this clip and find out !
He clearly has a target. We all do, but this is a GREAT dream ! And unlike most of us ,the genius within is capable of achieving it ! But it`s the uninterested parent`s reaction that cuts through his dream like a ninja sword through watermellons !
If that parent thought that all his life was based on impressing him only,by using any method that he could think of,would that parent be happy ?
Of course not. You cannot teach a old dog new tricks.
But let us consider this. Even though our intentions may be good ones, our behaviour and actions towards our children can frequently lead them to a life of misery. We are programming them without even knowing HOW to program US in the first place.
